This post highlights my process through both of my abstract paintings. There was some struggle, but I mainly enjoyed my freedom.

Zaha Hadid is a famous architect who is known for her abstract architecture and he lack of "straight" lines in her designs. She has even designed soccer stadiums for the last World Cup in Qatar. Her work is inspirational due to her different approach, even though she has received some backlash due to how difficult the building process is. She has influenced my own work since I started to look for alternative views to conventional art forms.

This is a documentation of how my oil painting has been progressing as I've been working on it. It has been a bit of a struggle with color matching, but we keep moving forward.

This is documentation of the development of my oil painting and how it has been progressing. I have had some struggles since all of my objects are dark, but I have been overcoming them with some help from my instructor. I also need to work on "erasing" my "edges" a bit more to make them smoother.

This is documentation for my initial process of my oil painting and how I developed my still life composition. There were some hardships with the composition, but I was able to overcome them through trial and error.

In the beginning, the process of creating the sculpture was completely new. This caused me to have some issues along the way with getting the proportions correct and other details like textures. Over time, with trial and error, I was able to get better and learned some techniques to make the process easier. I also made sure to look at it from all angles, which allowed me to catch more mistakes than before.

In the beginning, I had a difficult time keeping my line weight light, but over time, I was able to get better with it. I was able to improve throughout the process and learn how to better produce the mark and blend it together. I believe that my mark has gotten better, but I will have to work hard to get it right.
